Pregnant Women Carried On Cot Due To Poor Roads in Koraput

In a sad incident on Sunday, a pregnant woman had to be carried on a cot for nearly 5km at Bhagamari village under Pipalapadar panchayat of Koraput. Such incidents often happen in the rural parts of Odisha as medical help fail to reach at these places due to poor roads.
The woman identified as Nimai Mandinga when complained of labour pain, her family members contacted the ambulance service. However, the ambulance failed to reach the village due to poor road connectivity. With no option left, her family members, with the help of locals carried her for 5km till the ambulance.

Hopefully with the win in elections, the ruling party will make the roads smart too.
