President, PM Pay Tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on Martyr’s Day
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on Martyr’s Day.
The President and the Prime Minister visited Rajghat and offered tribute to the Father of the Nation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid floral tribute.
“Tributes to the great Bapu on his Punya Tithi. His ideals continue to motivate millions. On Martyr’s Day we recall the heroic sacrifices of all those great women and men who devoted themselves towards India’s freedom and the well-being of every Indian,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also extended his tribute through a tweet.
