Properties Worth Lakhs Of Rupees Engulfed In A Massive Fire Broke Out In Patrapada Village

According to reports, a massive fire broke out at a house in Patrapada Village under Chhendipada block of the district today. As per sources, the house caught fire while the woman was cooking food and most of the houses being thatched, the fire spread within no time.

Fire brigade rushed to the spot to take control of the situation after being informed by the villagers and although all efforts were put by the fire fighters to douse the fire-spread but it was too late until 40 houses had already turned into ashes.

Reportedly, most of the villagers are only left with the clothes that they were wearing and therefore have demanded compensation from the Local Administration and State Government.
