Punjab National Bank In Balasore Catches Fire

On early Saturday morning, Punjab National Bank’s (PNB) Chandaneswar branch in Bhogarai block of Balasore district caught fire. According to sources, locals of the area at 3am noticed smoke originating from the bank.
Fire fighters rushed to the spot after receiving information and successfully extinguished the fire. But it was too late until the fire was doused to save the computers and documents containing vital information from getting damaged.

It is being assumed that short circuit might have been the reason behind the mishap though the exact reason is yet to be ascertained.
