Puri Gajapati Divya Singh Dev meets PM Narendra Modi

Gajapati Maharaja of Puri, Sri Divya Singh Dev called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday. It was courtesy call, but the Gajapati Maharaja invited The PM to grace the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Swami Chidananda Saraswati Maharaj to be held in Odisha’s temple town of Puri.

The celebrations will be inaugurated on September 25, 2015 and will be a four-day event. The Maharaja requested the Prime Minister to accept the invitation to grace the inaugural function of the birth centenary celebrations of former President of Divya Jiban Sangha, Rishikesh along with his Holiness Sankaracharya of Govardhan Peeth Puri Swami Nischalananda Saraswati.

The Puri Gajapati also discussed the ensuing Nabakalabara celebrations of Lord Jagannath and the grand preparation of the divine event.
