Puri SDJM Court transfers Train Arson Case to Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Dec 11: In a significant development, the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court on Thursday transferred the train arson case to Bhubaneswar.  On Nov 12, three fire broke out from three stationed trains at Puri Railway station and also similar incident was also reported from Bhubaneswar railway station.

As per the recommendation of Odisha government, the Union Home Ministry has started National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the incident. Main accuse in the case, Ramchandran Subhas had gone under lie detection test at the State Forensic Laboratory here following court order.

Subhas is likely to be brought to Bhubaneswar today for further interrogation. As per officials, Subhas belongs to Tamil Nadu state and he came in contact with some terror groups based in Mumbai before resulting such incident at Puri.
