Queue system at Jagannath Temple from October 1

ONI Bureau:  Acting upon the Supreme Court’s instructions, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) is all set to implement queue system for ‘darshan’ (divine glimpse) of trinity at Jagannath Temple in Puri from October 1.

As per sources, “the devotees will enter the temple from the Simhadwara and move in a queue in barricades and exit through the Uttaradwara. However there will be separate barricades for men and women.

The SJTA Chief further informed that as per the decision, there will be a complete ban on receiving donation. While, donated gold and silver will be deposited in bank locker every Monday.
