Ram Madhav Impact: Naveen may attend 11th Day Event of Late Bansi Panda

ONI Bureau: The massive public outrage on Social Media as well as among common people, discontent among the BJD leaders and BJP leader Ram Madhav’s Odisha visit may force Naveen Patnaik to rethink on his earlier stand and attend the 11th day function of Late Bansidhar Panda, scheduled to be held on June 1.

According to sources, an invitation letter to CM Naveen Patnaik has been delivered on behalf of Dr. Bansidhar Panda’s family. The same sources also claim that the CM does not want to let go this opportunity to pacify the people who are angry and upset when neither he nor any BJD leaders showed little courtesy to turn up to pay their last respect to the departed soul, who was a leading figure of the State and also shared great rapport with Late Biju Patnaik & his family.

Political Pundits in Odisha believe that the BJD President is left with no other option but to attend the 11th Day function, after BJP’s National General Secretary Ram Madhav rushed to Odisha yesterday after completing his own mother’s bereavement period to pay tributes to Late Bansi Panda.

Although the damage is already done with Naveen & BJD leaders snubbing Dr. Panda on his demise, it cannot be undone by any forced gesture on the 11th day. While Naveen & Team surprised all & won appreciation for receiving the mortal remains of a bitter rival Pyari Mohapatra at the Airport, their shocking response during Dr. Bansi Panda’s demise won’t be forgotten easily.
