Rama Devi Women’s Varsity students’ protest enters day 3

ONI Bureau:  Students of Rama Devi Women’s University continued their protest for the third consecutive day today, urged the State Government not to abolish the Ramadevi Autonomous College and its teaching posts.

The agitating Students on Monday locked main gate and staged demonstration demanding land for 2nd campus of the Varsity and retention of Autonomous status for Ramadevi University which has been abolished by Higher Education Department.

They also protested over the Higher Education Department’s decision to abolish 71 teaching posts in the Ramadevi Varsity.
