Ranji Trophy: Odisha suffer Innings Defeat vs Delhi

OdishOdisha suffered a humiliating defeat to mighty Delhi in a crucial Ranji Trophy match. The match ended in less than two days, as Odisha lost 19 wickets on Day 2. Delhi secured six full points by the virtue of this victory.

In reply to Delhi’s first innings score of 353, Odisha bowled out for 118. Girjia Rout was the top scorer with 24. Navdeep Saini and Varun Sood took three wickets each, while Manan Sharma took two wickets.

Delhi enforced follow-on and asked Odisha to bat again. In the second innings, Odisha batsmen perfored worse and bowled out for a paltry 85. They lost the match by an innings and 150 runs. Anurag Sarangi (32) and Abhilash Mallick (30) were the top scorers. None other batsmen could reach the double digit score.

For Delhi, Manan Sharma took six wickets, while Vikas Tokas took two wickets.
