Ranji Trophy: Rajasthan beat Odisha by 2 Wickets

Ranji-Trophy-OdishaOdisha suffered a shock defeat to Rajasthan in Ranji Trophy despite dominating the proceedings for the most parts of the play. Day 3 changed all equations, as Rajasthan batsmen applied themselves and held their nerves to score a two-wicket win.

Chasing a victory target of 230, Rajasthan resumed at 78/2 and reached the target by losing 8 wickets. Odisha bowlers tried hard, but failed to get all 10 wickets. Odisha had the upperhand when Rajasthan were reeling at 118/5. But, a solid 76-run partnership between Siddharth Dobal and Rajat Bhatia changed the course of the game.

Rajasthan, which bowled out for a paltry 51 in the first innings, conceding the lead of 100, bounced back to score 231/8 and secured full six points from the match. Aniket Choudhary was declared ‘Man of the Match’ for his 10-wicket haul.
