Re-organisation of 7 IAS Officers

The government of Odisha on Saturday re-organised seven IAS officers in the state.

Prasanta Kumar Senapati 2004-batch IAS officer, presently posted as Director, Fisheries has been appointed as Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha.

2002-batch IAS officer Krishan Kumar, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Cooperation Department is authorised to remain in additional charge of Secretary, Works Department in addition to his own duties.

2007-batch IAS officer Balwant Singh, presently posted as Director, Technical Education and Training has been permitted to continue in additional charge of Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority.

2010-batch IAS officer Prem Chandra Chaudhary, Director (I/c), Special Projects, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department has been approved to continue in additional charge of Controller, Legal Metrology-cum- Director Consumer Affairs, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

IAS Bishnupada Sethi, who posted as Special Relief Commissioner and Managing Director of OSDMA, has been assigned added charge of Commercial Taxes and GST Department. Furthermore, 1996-batch IAS officer Saswat Mishra, who was earlier the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes and GST has now been delegated as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Higher Education Department of the Odisha government.
