Renowned Odia Poet Rabi Singh to receive Atibadi Jagannath Das Samman

ONI Bureau: Noted odia poet Rabi Singh will be conferred with the prestigious Atibadi Jagannath Das Samman for the year 2017.

A decision in this regard was taken at the working council meeting of Odisha Sahitya Akademi on Friday. The award ceremony date is yet to be finalised.

Eminent writer & poet Rabi Singh will get the prestigious Samman for his distinguished contributions to Odia literature in the forms of poetry and short story compilations.

His poetry collections include Bhrukuti, Lal Pagoda Ra Preta, Patha Prantara Kabita, Charama Patra, Bidirna, Padatika, Apritikara Kabita, Jawalara Mala, Kshata, Bishabani, Durgama Giri, Jhada, Sarbahara, Banya and Anaryara Charyapada.
