Rescue Job over, Odisha Fire Services Personnel back home

ONI Bureau:  After commendable rescue and relief operation in flood-ravaged Kerala, a 123-member team of Odisha Fire Services personnel landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport by special flights of Indian Air Force today morning at around 11 am.

Another team of 122 personnel along with the equipment reached the Capital in a special flight on Thursday night.

Contingent of Odisha Fire Service carried out rescue operation in full swing in the flood-hit Kerala and rescued at least 5000 persons. Mostly they were deployed to the river and remote areas of Kerala for carrying out the rescue operations.

Worth mentioning, on August 18, as many as 245 personnel of the Odisha Fire Services had been deployed to carry out rescue and relief work in flood-hit Kerala, They carried 75 motor boats with them.
