RTO in-charge hit by Haiwa Truck in Jajpur Dist, dies

ONI Bureau: An officer-in-charge of Jajpur Town Regional Transport Office (RTO) was killed after being hit by a Haiwa truck near Chandpur in Jajpur district in the wee hours of Monday.

The deceased RTO in-charge has been identified as Manoj Behera.

The incident took place last night while Behera was inspecting heavy vehicles passing through the Nuapada Square. Reportedly, a speeding overloaded truck run over Behera following which he died on the spot.
