Rumours of Ban on Rs 10 Coins spark panic in Odisha

A rumour has trigger across Odisha that Rs 10 coins had been declared invalid by the Reserve Bank of India.

Small traders, local shops, vendors and auto-rickshaw drivers are not accepting the Rs 10 coins in the City.

People are showing queued up outside the RBI Office in Bhubaneswar on Monday to exchange 10 rupee coins.

However, the RBI made it clear that Rs 10 coin is valid and those who is refusing to accept may face legal action.
