Russian man found begging in Puri, shifted to Shelter Home

ONI Bureau:  In what came as a shocking sight to many devotees at the Jagannath temple in Puri, a Russian tourist was seen begging for alms at the Bada Danda.

The foreigner, who was identified as Andrei Glagolev said that he lost his job three months ago in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and he has no money to live so trying to earn money by doing bhajan.

Reportedly, Andrei was shifted to a shelter home in Puri on Sunday by the district Authorities and he has been provided free food and accommodation there.
