Sans motorable road, Pregnant Woman carried on cot in Koraput dist

ONI Bureau:  In yet another case of poor road connectivity, a pregnant woman was carried on cot as the ambulance failed to reach the village due to lack of motorable road.

As per report, Subai Nirikiyanka of Karikon village under Narayanpatna block in Koraput district, of labour pain, following which family members carried her on a cot, walked for 3 kms and crossed a river to reach the ambulance.

Later, she was brought to the health centre in the ambulance.
