Satya Nagar proclaimed as containment zone

The Government of Odisha has shut down the Satya Nagar area and proclaimed the vicinity as a “containment zone” after an individual was tested positive for COVID-19 although he had no recent travel history.

The residents are advised to remain at home and all the shops along with the educational institutions have been closed with immediate effect.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) have guaranteed that the important commodities and medicines will be provided. A helpline number 1929 has also been provided for any complaints.

Numerous steps are being taken to sanitise and disinfect Satya Nagar. The entry and exit points have been tightly secured.

Doctors will conduct door to door visits on daily basis and check for COVID-19 symptoms.
