Satya Pal Malik sworn in as Governor of Odisha

ONI Bureau:  The present Governor of Bihar Satya Pal Malik was today sworn-in as the Governor of Odisha at Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. He has been administered the oath of office by Chief Justice of Orissa High Court Justice Vineet Saran. He has taken Odisha Governor’s duties in addition to his own duties.

Satya Pal Malik who was BJP’s National Vice-President before his appointment as the Governor of Bihar, was also the member of the 9th Lok Sabha and member of Rajya sabha from Uttar Pradesh from 1980-86 and 1986-1992.

Malik was welcomed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Bhubaneswar Airport and received guard of honour on the premises of Raj Bhavan today.
