Satyajit Mohanty assumes Office as new Twin City Police Commissioner

ONI Bureau: The newly-appointed Police Commissioner of the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty assumed charge as Twin City Police Commissioner, replaced Y B Khurania, who has been transferred as ADG Provisioning.

An IPS officer of 1988 batch, Satyajit Mohanty isthe sixth Police Commissioner of the Twin City. He was served as SP, Vigilance and additional transport commissioner earlier.

Mohanty started his career as ASP in 1990 in Jeypore and has served as the additional SP of Puri and SP in Koraput, Rourkela, Cuttack and Balasore.
