Saumendra Priyadarshi Takes Charge As Police Commissioner

Senior IPS officer Saumendra Kumar Priyadarshi assumed charge as the Police Commissioner of Twin City on Tuesday. He took over charge from Sudhansu Sarangi.

“Privileged to succeed an excellent and highly professional officer,” Priyadarshi said after taking charge.

“Seek co-operation of public, colleagues & blessings of the almighty to make policing more citizen centric , responsive & visible. Aim at completing the unfinished agenda,” he added.

Saumendra Priyadarshi is a 1995-batch IPS officer. He was previously posted as the Additional DG, Crime Branch.
