SC directs Odisha Govt to appoint Lokayukta within two months

ONI Bureau: The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Odisha Government to complete the Lokayukta Appointment process within two months.

Earlier the Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi presented detailed report on the progress made for appointment of Lokayukta in Supreme Court today.

It is to be noted that The Supreme Court in a directive had asked the Chief Secretary to submit a status report on implementation of the Act before July 10.
