SC suggests entry of non-Hindus into Puri Jagannath Temple

ONI Bureau: The Supreme Court on Thursday suggested that the temple management committee should consider entry of people of other religion into the temple.

In what circumstances they should be allowed into the Jagannath temple need to discuss.

Though irrespective of caste, creed, colour and community, Lord Jagannath is worshiped by all with a message of unity and equality, non-Hindus are not allowed to enter Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri yet.
