SCB Doctors launch indefinite relay Hunger Strike

ONI Bureau:  The Healthcare services at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack continued to be badly affected, as Junior Doctors’ cease-work agitation entered day 9 today.

Junior Doctors Association has been agitating since February 19, demanding immediate transfer of the Urology Department head Prof Datteswar Hota, alleged harassment and atrocities charges levelled against him.

As per the report 2 PG doctors sit on indefinite hunger strike against the senior professor. Expressing solidarity, the PG students in VIMSAR joined duty wearing black badges and Sambalpur and Berhampur doctors joined the ongoing cease work.

Meantime, the Health services at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack continue to get badly affected due to the cease-work agitation.

Responding to the photocopy of the probe committee report by a Twitterati Dr Moriarty, BJD MP. Baijayant Panda criticized officer of the Third Floor and Health Ministry for not taking any immediate step in this matter.
