School girl delivers Baby: 12-hour bandh in Kandhamal cripples normal life

ONI Bureau:  Normal life came to a grinding halt as the Kandhamal Surakshya Abhiyan and BJP has been observing a 12-hour bandh in the district today demanding action against Ministers and other officials in connection with the incident where a class VIII school girl delivered a baby at hostel premises in a residential school in Daringibadi area.

While schools, colleges, other educational institutions, markets, business establishments, offices and shops remained closed in the area, vehicular movement was disrupted at many places in view of the bandh today.

The bandh which was started at 6 am in the morning will continue till 6 pm today.
