School Headmaster in Odisha Vigilance net

ONI Bureau:  Basing on the allegations of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Baguli Ashram School Headmaster Biswanath Sahu, Odisha Vigilance sleuths today raided several places and seized many valuables in Mayurbhanj districts.

The raids were conducted at his Residential double storied building at Raghunathpur, Baripada Town, House at native Village at Sanpakhna (Kherna), P.S- Jharpokharia,  House of relative at Saraskana, P.S- Jharpokharia, and Office room at Baguli, P.S- Betnoti, Dist- Mayurbhanj were simultaneously searched today i.e. on  25.9.2018 by the Officers of Vigilance, Balasore Division, Balasore on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the honorable Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada.

In course of search and inventory, Biswanath Sahu, Headmaster was found in possession of assets worth Rs.96,70,143/- (Rupees Ninety Six Lakhs Seventy Thousand One Hundred Forty Three)  including one double storied building, one single storied building, 7 nos of homestead plots at Baripada town, Rangamatia, Betnoti, one i-20 Car, 2 nos of two wheelers, Bank, Postal and insurance deposits, Gold ornaments, Hard Cash and costly household articles.
