Second Phase of Odisha Budget Session begins today

The second and last phase of Budget Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly has begun today and will continue till April 7.

Reportedly, Congress members created ruckus in Odisha Assembly over Bargarh farmer suicide and other farm related issues as a result House adjourned for 30 minutes.

It is to be noted that, in a reply to a question in the first phase of session, Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy told the House that the Bargrh farmer, Khainu (Hadu) Bagarty, committed suicide due to family dispute and not for crop loss and loan burden.
