Security beefed up for President Kovind’s Odisha visit tomorrow

ONI Bureau: The Commissionerate Police has made elaborate security arrangements in view of the high profile visit of President of India Ram Nath Kovind scheduled for tomorrow.

As per report, 30 platoons of police, 27 ACPs & Inspectors, 200 SIs will be deployed during President Ramnath Kovind’s visit to Cuttack, informed DCP Cuttack Akhileswar Singh.

President Kovind would dedicate the Anand Bhwan Museum and Learning Centre in memory of Biju Patnaik in Cuttack and will deliver the third foundation day speech at National Law University and will leave for Puri tomorrow.

On Sunday, the President would inaugurate the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan’s centenary celebrations in Puri and will attend the 6th annual convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
