Shopkeepers Of Ganjam Fined For Throwing Trash On Roadside

Six shopkeepers in Annapurna market and SMT road in Berhampur were imposed heavy fines for throwing garbage on the roadside.

The imposition came after the District Collector of Ganjam along with BMC Commissioner Chakrabarti Singh Rathore took a surprise visit in the locality to take stock of the hygiene issues.

The shopkeepers were fined Rs 10,000 each for cluttering the roadside with garbage after shutting the shop every night.
