ONI Bureau: The 11-day annual Sisir Saras Mela kicked off at Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The fair is being organised by Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS) under the Panchayati Raj department. Around 300 stalls from 23 states are selling various handicraft and handloom products.
Handloom and cottage products, cane and bamboo works, handicrafts made of carved wood and stone, durry carpets, dry flowers, wooden artefacts, jute bags and pattachitra paintings are some of the major attractions at the fair.
Besides, food kiosks and cultural performances are also the centre of attraction for the audience at the mela.
