SLSWCA approves Investment Proposal worth Rs. 101 Cr.

Chief Secretary G.C. Pati - Revenue Collection up by 4%The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sri Gokul Chandra Pati in the Secretariat conference hall today has accorded in principle approval to the investment proposals of worth 101 crore. The proposal of M/s Himadri Chemicals and Industries Ltd. to set up manufacturing of Coal Tar Pitch at Kenghati in Sambalpur district with investment of around 56.63 crores and proposal of M/s Nandini Real Infra Ltd. to set up a steel slag recycling units at Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur district with investment of around 55 crore have received in principle approval subject to compliance of other statutory and regulatory requirements.

These 2 units will provide employment opportunities to174 persons. Chief Secretary Sri Pati has advised industries to make adequate technical arrangements for rain water harvest and recharge of ground water. The Pollution Control Board has also been advised to enforce compliance to pollution norms, treatment of industrial wastes and zero discharge trough recycling and reuse.

The Development Commissioner, Sri U. N. Behera, Addl. Chief Secretary, R&DM, Dr. Taradatt, Principal Secretary, Industries, Sri Sanjib Chopra, Principal Secretary, Energy, Sri S.C. Mohapatra, Secretary, Tourism, Dr. Arabinda Padhee, CMD, GRIDCO, Sri Hemanta Sharma, CMD, IDCO, Sri Vishal Dev, GM IPICOL Sri Kalyan Mohanty along with senior officers from concerned department participated in the discussion.
