6-Year-Old Snake Bite Victim in Nabarangpur needs Financial Help

Snake bite Victim needs Financial Help in NabarangpurBy Rakesh Gupta: Chamru Santa, aged 6 years forced his grand father to take him to nearby corn field. He intended to play there but God has different plan. While his grandfather entered the corn field for work, he was playing nearby. Suddenly a poisonous snake bit Chamru’s right hand.

Chamru Santa, son of Libo Santa lives at Samal Dora village under Kursi panchayat in Umerkote block.  His father took him to Umerkote hospital where doctors treated him for three days. When his life was out of danger, doctors referred him to district headquarters hospital for advanced treatment.

As Chamru’s father is a very poor man, he cannot afford to take his son to district headquarter hospital and take him to his village Samal Dora. Now in the absence of treatment, Chamru’s right hand got severely infected. When Chamru’s father again took him to Umerkote hospital, doctors asked him to immediately take the child to Koraput Hospital and said if treatment is delayed, then Chamru’s hand will be severed by operation, which will make him handicap permanently for whole life.

Boy-NabarangpurNow father of Chamru is in a state of shock, as he his financially very weak. He requested local administration and public for financial help so that Chamru can recover. Chamru is studying in Class 1 in Samal Dora School and awaiting help.

As the family is poor and illiterate and does not have a bank account, I am giving our SBI Account Number here. I take the responsibility of getting the funds delivered to the boy’s family. We just had a talk with Boy’s father, who revealed that the Doctors have referred the boy to Koraput Hospital.
