Social Security Schemes to cover 3 lakh more beneficiaries in Odisha

The State Government on Saturday has decided to include another three lakh beneficiaries for the social security schemes in the state.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has advised the concerned departments to start the process by August 15. The scheme will provide a right to live with dignity in the society for old people, widows, and physically challenged persons who will be benefited by this scheme.

Almost 40 lakh beneficiaries has been benefited under the social security scheme.

The Chief Minister said that his government has always given first priority to the poor and the needy people.
