Split in HC Bar Association; Agitating Lawyers resist BJD Legal Front members

ONI Bureau:  After the BJD legal front withdrew from the ongoing lawyers’ cease-work stir on Saturday, an ugly face-off took place between the two groups of lawyers today as the agitating lawyers staged demonstration outside the Orissa High Court in Cuttack and not allowed BJD Legal Front members to enter inside the High Court, reportedly.

As many as 25 platoons of police were deployed to maintain law and order situation in the spot.

Meantime, the members of Balasore Bar Association lock up main gate of District & Sessions Judge Court protesting the attack against the lawyer.

Worth metionig, BJD legal front lawyers have withdrew when the agitated lawyers decided to burn an effigy of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in front of 164 Bar associations across Odisha.
