Spot Counseling for 42 MBBS, 89 BDS Seats on Sep 29

medical counselingBhubaneswar, Sep 28: In order to fill up vacant MBBS and BDS seats in medical colleges in Odisha, spot counseling will be conducted on September 29 (Tuesday). According to the officials of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), as many as 42 MBBS seats and 89 BDS seats are lying vacant in medical colleges after the completion of third round counseling.

The officials said that spot counseling to fill up these seats will be held on September 29. All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) rankings will be considered for admission into the vacant MBBS seats. For the admission into vacant BDS seats, the marks secured by candidate at special OJEE will be considered. The special OJJE exam was conducted on Sunday.

Two MBBS seats each are lying vacant at SCB Medical College, Cuttack and MKCG Medical College respectively.  And 38 MBBS seats are lying vacant in Hitech Medical College. Out of 89 vacant BDS seats, 16 seat are in SCB Medical College and 73 seats in Hitech Medical College.
