SRC asks 5 Collectors to submit crop damage report by Dec 18

ONI Bureau:  Taking measures on crop damage due to heavy rainfall, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) on Monday directed the district collectors of five districts to submit crop damage reports by December 18.

Reportedly, SRC Bishnupada Sethi wrote letter to collectors of Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jajpur districts to assess crop damage due to unseasonal cyclonic rain during December 9-10 and send report by mentioned date.

Earlier. SRC has alerted all district Collectors in view of possible low pressure. Farmers have been advised to harvest their crops and shift to safer place.
