State Resource Centre,Rayagada focuses on Sampurna Adarsh Gram Yojana

Odisha-villageRayagada, Jan 12: State Resource Centre (SRC-Agragamee), Rayagada is now focusing on Sampurna Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) undertaken by the  MPs of Phulbani, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Aska  and Berhampur.

The scheme SAGY will be implemented in the blocks of Khajuripada, Semiliguda, Baipariguda, Kabisuryanagar  and Patrapur and in Gram Panchayats  are Baligaon(Baipariguda block), Pitaguda(Semiliguda block), Bilabadi(Khajuripada), Kesaripada(Patrapur), Barida(A)(Kabisuryanagar).

In each block one GP has been chosen for SAGY program to unveil all access of minimum amenities like communication, education, health, drinking water, housing and all other benefits to build model one. On an average 2000 learners are identified among those neo-literates in each GP to enroll them in basic literacy centres. Mainly opportunities are provided to women groups.

Four parts of literacy e.g., functional, financial, legal and electoral are emphasized to nourish their role on mainstream development. Fortunately local MPs, MLAs, PRI members along with education department officials are cooperating in the mission of SRC, Rayagada.
