State’s hottest, Bhubaneswar sizzles at 42.3 C

ONI Bureau: Bhubaneswar replaced Titlagarh as the hottest place of the State with highest temperature of 42.3°C on Monday.

While other places like Angul sizzled at 41.3 degree C, the mercury at Baripada recorded at 40.4 degree C, Bhawanipatna at 40.2, Cuttack at 40.2 and Chandbali 40 degree C on Monday.

IMD forecast said the heatwave-like conditions would prevail in the Capital city for two more days. The IMD also issued heat warning for more eight districts for next 48 hours including Cuttack, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Khordha, Bolangir and Kalahandi.
