STF Seizes Leopard Skin from Boudh District

Based on reliable information on sale of leopard skin, STF team conducted a raid near Kapasira village under Boudh district.

One person Hara Rana was apprehended, who was unable to produce any valid documents supporting his possession. During the search a Leopard skin, a country made SBML Gun, two plastic container containing Black gun powder and other materials were seized from his possession.

The seized leopard skin will be sent to Wild Life Institute of India, Dehradun for chemical examination. During the last one year, STF has seized as many as 15 Leopard skina, 9 Elephant Tusk, 2 deer skins, 3 live pangolin and 10 kg pangolin scales.
