Student dies, 13 taken ill after consuming ‘stale’ food in Nabarangpur Dist

ONI Bureau:  A class-VII student died while 13 others were taken ill after taking stale food served to them at Maliguda Sevashram School under Dabugaon block of Nabarangpur district yesterday.

The ill students including the deceased were rushed to Dabugaon Community Health Centre on Friday after they complained of stomach pain, vomiting & dysentery. However, Gurubandhu Bhatra, the seventh standard student died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment.

Reportedly, the students and staff of Sevashram School had a five-day programme followed by school picnic.
