Students’ Polls cancelled in Ravenshaw & Sambalpur Varsities

ONI Bureau:  The students’ union election has been cancelled in Ravenshaw University in Cuttack and Sambalpur University following student unrest in the campus of the Universities.

Earlier today, Ravenshaw University released an advertisement for indirect elections in the varsity where Vice Chancellor of Ravenshaw University said that elections would be cancelled if unrest prevails on campus.

Similarly, the polls were also cancelled at Madhusudan Law College in Cuttack, Kusaleswar Regional Degree College in Keonjhar, Dhamnagr College in Bhadrak, Nilgiri College in Balasore, Mangala College in Kakatpur of Puri district. The students’ union elections were cancelled at the Utkal University in Bhubaneswar earlier.
