Students walk miles to list grievances before Mayurbhanj Collector

ONI Bureau: As many as 100 hostel students of Balidiha Ashram school at Shyamakhunta in Baripada on Friday walk around 15 km to meet Mayurbhanj District Collector to put forth their complaints against Head Master of the school.

The Class V to Class X students put forth their grievances in several issues including irregularities and harassment by school authorities.

Look into their grievances, Mayurbhanj Collector Surendra Kumar Meena have suspended Balidiha Ashram school Head Master Himanshu Sekhar Patnaik today.

In a similar incident, over 400 students of the Karanjia Girls’ High School walk for 10 kms to meet the Karanjia Sub-Collector to put forth their grievances regarding several irregularity issues today.
