Sudarsan Pattnaik creates ‘Go India Go’ Sand Art in Puri

imageThe two well-balanced teams from cricketing superpowers Australia and India clash in a mouth-watering World Cup semi-final at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday. Renowned Sand Artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture to wish Indian cricket team with a message “Go India Go” at Puri beach of Odisha.

Pattnaik has created a 6ft high sand sculpture where he shows the World cup trophy, a long cricket bat and ball with our National flag. He used about 5 tons of sand and took 5 to 6 hour to complete this sculpture.On this occasion many tourists and students gathered at beach to wish good luck.

Sudarsan is a big fan of cricket. Earlier also, he had created many sand sculpture to wish Indian cricket team. My best wishes to Team India to bring the World cup trophy, said Sudarsan.

So far Padma Shree awarded sand artist Sudarshan has participated in more than fifty International sand art championships and festivals around the World and won many prizes for our country. He always tries to give social messages through his sand art.
