Teenager Gets Drowned !

An 18 yr old young girl got drowned in a pond at Charda village under Binika block in Sonepur district today.

According to sources, on the morning of Friday the girl ventured to take a bath in the nearby pond. Out of curiosity the girl decided to swim a little further to pluck the lotus flowers but lost control in the deep water as a result slipped and got drowned.

The deceased girl was identified as Priyanka Thanapati. The residents tried to save her but it was too late by then. Later, fire personnel reached and retrieved her body.
