Telkoi MLA Vedvyas Nayak meets CM, seeks Security of life

Telkoi BJD MLA Vedvyas Nayak today met party supremo Naveen Patnaik at his residence seeking security of his life.

The Chief Minister has assured Vedvyas to provide protection and justice.

Notably, the legislator was seriously injured, when a group of party workers attacked on him during a block-level meeting at Gundichaghai in Keonjhar district on Sunday.

MLA Nayak was admitted to the Harichandanpur Hospital and later shifted to SCB Medical in Cuttack.

Harischandrapur Police arrested seven persons in connection with the attack.
