Traffic Constable Becomes A Hero And Saves Four Lives

In a heroic incident, a traffic constable was felicitated by the Commisionerate Police for showing courage and saving four lives.

Lalit Mohan Rout was at his routine traffic duty of monitoring at Shikharpur Square in Cuttack when he noticed a speeding truck approaching from behind of two motorcyclists carrying each person. Rout immediately jumped off from his post and pulled aside the two motorcyclists saving four lives from being run by the truck.

On exhibiting prompt action and immense courage, Rout was felicitated at the Commissionerate Police headquarters and applauded for his dedication.
