Trees fall on Railway track; Train services stalled in Rayagada

 

ONI Bureau: Train services partially disrupted as trees fell on the tracks between Ambadala and Dahikhala in Rayagada districts on Friday.

Gandhidham Express halted at Ambadala and Tirupati-Bilaspur Express stopped at Bissamcuttack due to strong winds and heavy rains under the impact of cyclone Titli in the district.

Similarly, Santragachi-Chennai Express stopped at Muniguda station.

Reportedly, River Vamsadhara in Rayagada is experiencing severe flood situation due to extremely heavy rain.

As the water levels are flowing above the danger levels in Palasa-Berhampur section, 22826 MAS-SHM express diverted to run via Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Sambalpur. Likewise, Palasa-Berhampur section 12704 SC-HWH Falaknuma express diverted to run via Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh , Sambalpur.
