Trial run to be held on Bolangir-Khurda Railway line

After a safety inspection of the Railway tracker, trains will start operating from Bolangir till Bhainsapali railway station and return back.

The districts like Boudh and Subarnapur, which have no railway network, will get railway communication through this new single rail line. The single line has new station between Nayagarh Town and Nuagaon station.

The Centre has allocated Rs 700 crore in the Union Budget this year for the project which will connect western part of the state to coastal Odisha.
