Tribal Girl Students leave Hostel alleging Torture by Warden

As many as 64 tribal girl students of Mohana Government High School in Gajapati district left the hostel today morning alleging harassment by warden.

According to the sources, girl students of Mohana Govt High School, run by ST/SC development department, earlier lodged complaints to the school authority that the hostel warden had allegedly abused and harassed them in the hostel. The girls left the hostel this morning after their repeated complaints remained unheard.

In this regard, parents of hostel girl students have blocked Berhampur-Rayagada road demanding action against the matron.
